How to read the statistics

The page shows settled NHL picks, including losses, alongside hit rate, average odds and bank. Consider all three metrics together: hit rate alone does not show whether the odds make a strategy profitable.

Hit rate and ROI

Hit rate is the share of settled picks that won. ROI compares net profit or loss with the total amount staked, expressed as a percentage. The calculation depends on the recorded odds and staking method.

Average odds and bank

Average odds show the mean price across the picks included in the statistic. Bank tracks the cumulative result under the site's stated staking approach; it is not a guarantee of future returns.

Why the sample size matters

Short runs can be heavily affected by variance. A larger record gives a more useful view of performance, but past results do not ensure future outcomes. Check the number of settled picks and review results over time.
