Saturday is headlined by a huge Big East matchup pitting No. 6 Syracuse at No. 1 Louisville. These teams have combined 32-2 to start the season. Louisville, which is led by the dynamic guard tandem of Peyton Siva and Russ Smith, ascended to No. 1for just the second time in the program’s history this week following wins against South Florida and Connecticut. They have beaten the number in their last three games. Syracuse, which is an excellent 9-4 against the spread, is led by leading scorer Brandon Triche. Three other games pit Top 25 teams on Saturday—No. 11 Ohio State at No. 17 Michigan State; No. 16 Missouri at No. 11 Florida; and No. 8 Gonzaga at No. 13 Butler. Ohio State (13-3) handed arch-rival Michigan its first loss of season of this season earlier this week, while Michigan State (15-3) has won four straight since losing its Big 10 opener to highly-regarded Minnesota. Florida (12-2) has won five straight games and brings in a perfect 7-0 record at “The Swamp.” Missouri (13-3) suffered its first SEC loss at the hands of Ole Miss earlier this week, but rebounded nicely with a sharp 79-62 win over Georgia as a 13-point favorite Thursday.

All of these teams figure to make plenty of noise later this year when filling out your March Madness bracket picks.
