Ahmad Bradshaw is one bad dude. The ex-Marshall running back rumbled for three touchdowns as the Giants edged the resurgent Buffalo Bills, 27-24. Kicker Lawrence Tynes booted the game winner with 1:23 to go in regulation as the G-Men improved 4-2.

While there were some rough moments in this game, the Giants played mistake free football on offense. For the first time this season, the Giants did not commit a turnover. In addition, the Giants did not rely on Eli Manning to pace them to a victory. Bradshaw’s three touchdowns and 104 rushing yards really proved to be the difference. Not having Brandon Jacobs hurts this team long-term, but Bradshaw is definitely picking up the slack and running with authority.

The rough moments came in waves during the first half. Running back Fred Jackson sprinted for a 76 yard touch down early on and receiver Naaman Roosevelt turned a five-yard completion into a 60-yard scamper. Antrell Rolle had a bad read of both plays and need to improve. The Giants have proved time and time again that they are vulnerable to the play. This is something they’ll need to work on during their bye week.

Following the bye week, the Giants will have face these opponents (in order):

8. vs. MIA
9. at NE
10. at SF
11. vs. PHI
12. at NO
13 vs. GB
14 at DAL
15 vs. WSH
16 at NYJ
17 vs. DAL

Week 8 is the only cupcake game for the rest of the season. We’ll see how the Giants do with this slate, but it starts with getting healthy and preparing for Miami in Week 8.
