The Yankee lineup lacks some serious punch when Teix, Grandy, and Jeter have the day off. With Eric Chavez, Chris Dickerson, and Ramiro Pena subbing in, the Yankee offense was unable to generate any offense as it fell 3-0 to Brandon Morrow and the Blue Jays. Morrow tossed eight shutout innings, striking out eight Yankee hitters. With the loss, the Yankees wrap up their four-city, ten-game road trip with a 4-6 record.

Freddy Garcia struggled once again for the Bombers, lasting only 4.2 innings. He gave way to two Adam Lind home runs.

Eduardo Nunez had three hits in the win, but made a bonehead attempt to take second on a base hit to right field.

The Yankees will makeup a game tomorrow at home against the Twins. Afterwards, their next seven games will come at home against the Rays and Red Sox. With the Rays only trailing the Red Sox by two games in the AL Wildcard race, expect a lot of scoreboard watching this week.
