To say this season was disappointing for the Boston Red Sox would be an understatement. The Red Sox have been decimated by injuries and simply have not had the firepower to jump back into the playoff race. That being said, the Yankees will be ready to put the Sox out of their misery at the Stadium this weekend.  The Yankees magic number is at 3, so just two wins against the Sox will clinch a playoff berth. Obviously the Rays are within striking distance of the division lead, but the Yankees aren’t going to sell out to win the division. Let’s just take care of business this weekend as we continued to prove our dominance over Boston. This is the final home regular season series at Yankee Stadium, so let’s go out with a bang.

Wake Up, Derek
