R.A Dickey faced off against Derek Lowe in Game 2 of the three-game set against Atlanta. Both pitchers were on top of their game, but the bullpen was the deciding factor. Jeff Francoeur was the hero of tonight’s game. The Mets won a very important game against their rival Braves.

Francoeur: Jeff Francoeur blasted the difference-maker in the ball game. He was 1 for 3, including a walk and scored two of the three Mets runs.

Dickey: The Mets new ace pitched six strong innings, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks, while striking out two. It’s another decision in which R.A. Dickey was well deserving of a win.
