To much of the dismay of East Coast baseball fans, the Yankees will head out West for six night games. Starting tonight, the Yankees will play three games in Arizona against the Diamondbacks and then play three games in Los Angeles against the Dodgers. All three games played against the D’Backs will start at 9:40 PM or later, so make sure you take a nap before the game begins.

The Yankees went 6-3 on their nine game home stand while the D’Backs lost five of six on the road against Detroit and Boston. The 27-43 D’Backs are in last place in the NL West…

Here’s the tale of the tape:

Basically, the Diamondbacks are a crappier version of the Blue Jays. They can mash home runs, but are inept at pitching. Watch out for third baseman, Mark Reynolds (16 HRs), center fielder Chris Young (12 HRs), and young phenom right fielder, Justin Upton (11 HRs).
