Match-Up: San Jose Sharks (0-2) at Chicago Blackhawks (2-0)

The Chicago Blackhawks have dominated the San Jose Sharks so far this season. Chicago is 5-1 against San Jose and bring a commanding 2-0 series lead back home to the United Center. Chicago goaltender, Antti Niemi has been great so far. He has held the ferocious Shark attack led by Patrick Marleau to only three goals during the first two games. Chicago has attributed a lot of their success to the play of Dave Bolland. Bolland’s line has been used to frustrate Marleau’s line and thus far, their approach has been successful.  However, the Sharks have not been helping their own cause, giving the puck away 20 times compared to Chicago’s six times in Game 2.

The Blackhawks are 5-1 against the Sharks this season and boast a 29-8-4 record at the United Center. The Sharks have been notorious for late-season choke-jobs. I’m picking the Hawks to go up 3-0 in this series.

The Pick: Chicago Blackhawks

May Record: 7-13
