Match-Up: Boston Celtics (1-0) at Orlando Magic (0-1)

I did a series preview of this series on Sunday, so check it out for some of the back story stats.

Tuesday’s prop is the same as Sunday: Magic Winning Margin or Boston 3s.

Boston’s physical defense pushed the Magic around for three quarters before Disney World work up. Dwight Howard and Co. outscored the Magic, 30-18 in the final quarter to only fall short and lose Game 1, 92-88.

Boston held the Magic to 42% shooting from the field, their lowest mark in over a month. The Magic didn’t get much from forward, Rashard Lewis, who only scored six points on 2 of 10 shooting and went 0 for 6 from behind the arc.

The Celtics made 6 of 14 three-pointers in Game 1. Ray Allen looked automatic at times, knocking down two of five threes. The Magic must get a defender in Allen’s face during Game 2.

The Magic opened as 7.5 favorites and Game 2 is a must-win for them. Going to Boston down 2-0 would be unthinkable for a Magic team who lost for the first time since April 2nd.

I’m picking the Magic. Coach Stan Van Gundy will have his team play tougher in Game 2. The Magic take this one by 8.

The Pick: Orlando Magic Winning Margin

May Record: 7-10
