Per Chad Jennings of LoHud, the Yankees have set their pitching rotation for the next six games. Here’s the breakdown.

Sunday vs. Twins: Sergio Mitre
Monday vs. Red Sox: Phil Hughes
Tuesday vs. Red Sox: CC Sabathia
Wednesday vs. Rays: AJ Burnett
Thursday vs. Rays: Andy Pettitte
Friday at Mets: Javier Vazquez

We’ll go into this more on Monday, but the Yankees have skipped over Javier Vazquez, again. Manager Joe Girardi offered this quote as to why they were skipping Javy.

Girardi said. “Javy was supposed to start tomorrow. We got in a little bit of a pickle because of rain and things we had to go through, so Serge has to make that start now. And we’re just going to move Javy to Friday.”

Are the Yankees making the right decision by skipping Vazquez?
