The Los Angeles Lakers take a commanding 2-0 series lead to Utah. The Lakers have proven to be the superior team so far in this series, but things are bound to change on Saturday night. The two teams have split the season series in Salt Lake, however, Utah has won five of the last eight match-ups at home against LA.

In order for the Jazz to win, they’ll need a big effort from Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer. Williams has averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 assists per contest. He’ll need to improve upon his 36% shooting from the field. Boozer has been averaging 19 points and 12 rebounds during this series.

The Jazz must stop Kobe Bryant. Bryant has had his way so far in this series, averaging 30.5 points per game on 54% shooting from the field.

Jerry Sloan is way too good of a coach to let his team drop to 2-0. The Jazz have been one of the better home teams in the league (32-9), so expect them to play motivated and grab Game 3. The Jazz opened as 4.5 point favorites.

The Pick: Utah Jazz

May Record: 4-3
