The Phoenix Suns have started off this Western Conference Semi-Final round off hot, winning the first two games against the Spurs. The series shifts now shifts to San Antonio, advantage Spurs.

The Spurs need to do a better job on the boards. They’ve been out-rebounded in this series, 93-75. The Suns have been shooting at a 50% clip from the field, further proving that the Spurs need to be more aggressive. The Spurs have played well at home this year, 29-12. The Suns have been average road team, posting a 22-19 record.

Since 2006, the Suns have a 4-9 record at the AT&T Center. The Suns lost their only contest there this season, a 113-110 defeat on February 28th.

I don’t think a Gregg Popovich-led team will roll over and die in this series. Yes, the Spurs are getting older, but they’ll definitely make a series out of this. The Spurs have way too much pride. The Suns are also known for late-season collapses, could a Game 3 signal the start of another? The Spurs opened as a 6.5 point favorite. Look for them to grab Game 3.

The Pick: San Antonio Spurs

May Record: 4-2
