The Orlando Magic will be going for the series sweep today in Charlotte. Despite Dwight Howard’s struggles in Game 3, the Magic were still able to prevail. Due to foul trouble, Howard only played 26 minutes. He contributed only 13 points and eight rebounds. However, the Magic are the defending Eastern Conference champions and boast one of the league’s deepest rosters. Magic guard, Jameer Nelson stepped up and scored 32 points on 12 of 21 shooting in the win.

Bobcat star guard, Stephen Jackson greatly struggled in Game 3. He only shot 6 of 18 from the field including 1 of 7 from three-point range. As a team, the Bobcats only shot 22% from three-point range.

Even in Howard’s absence, the Magic still won the rebounding battle, 43-33. Expect Howard to play smarter in Game 4. The Magic are 5-1 against the Bobcats this season and they will end the Bobcats’ season on Monday night.
