The Match-Up: Atlanta Hawks(51-29) at Milwaukee Bucks(45-35)

This match-up is crucial for both of these clubs. The Atlanta Hawks(18-22 Away) are currently one game ahead of the Boston Celtics for the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference with only two games to go. The Milwaukee Bucks(28-12 Home) will be slotted into either the fifth or sixth playoff seed depending on their results in the final three games.

The teams have split their first two meetings of the season with the home team winning each contest. The Atlanta Hawks have lost six of seven on the road while the Bucks have won five of their last seven home contests.

Milwaukee center, Andrew Bogut was injured in an April 3rd contest against Phoenix and will miss the remainder of the season. The Bucks had no problems in their first three games without Bogut(Chicago, New Jersey, Philadelphia), but all three of these teams boast smaller lineups. The Bucks lost their last game to the Boston Celtics, a more physical club, 105-90. Even with their struggles on the road, the length of the Hawks should give the Bucks problems.

This is a critical game that the Hawks need. They boast the best player on the floor in Joe Johnson and I look for them to take the game on Monday night.
