See this face? Know who he is? If not, you will. Jason Heyward, the top prospect in the Braves organization, made his major league debut today. He made an impressive showing with a 2-5 performance, including a 3-run homerun in his first at bat, helping the Braves dominate the Cubs 16-5. He’s available in 20% of fantasy leagues so grab him if you can and quickly. I can guarantee that he won’t be available for much longer. The 20-year old from Ridgewood, NJ raked in Spring Training batting .305 with almost a 1 K:BB ratio. If he lives up to expectations, he’s going to have a huge rookie season, and be a lock as the Braves rightfielder for years to come.

My Prediction: Heyward will win the NL Rookie of the Year award

Projected Stats: .303 18HRs 89RBIs

3 Other Rookies I Suggest:

1. Brian Matusz (SP, Orioles)-owned in only 42% of fantasy leagues

2. Alcides Escobar (SS, Brewers)-33% owned

3. Neftali Feliz (RP, Rangers)-81% owned

Wish everyone the best of luck with their leagues!
