Finally some good news, Met fans.  Team doctors have cleared Jose Reyes to resume baseball activities, as his thyroid levels have returned to normal.  Reyes will return to Florida to join the rest of the team on Wednesday.  He missed two weeks due to his overactive thyroid.

It’s not yet known when he will return to game play.  However, with this quick return, I wouldn’t rule out seeing the star shortstop in the lineup on opening day, avoiding the DL altogether.  Later today the Mets should announce a little bit more about when we can expect to see him back on the field.
