The Yankes technically have three different lineups playing today. They have a split squad game going on(Team Joba vs. Team Pettitte) and then another one against the Phillies.

Update 3:55PM: The Phillies just won in walk-off fashion. Phil Hughes gave up the game-winning home run, but had good command today. In four innings, he allowed four runs, but struck out five. All that matters is, Hughes got some good work in today and has solidified has claim to the #5 slot in the rotation. Mark Teixeira went 4 for 4. He homered as well in the loss.

The split squad game is over. No notable hitters played, Randy Winn faced both Joba and Pettitte. Here’s a quick breakdown of the game:

Joba Chamberlain(faced: Juan Miranda, Randy Winn, Mike Rivera, Jon Weber, Jamie Hoffman)

5 innings, 6 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, 75 pitches, 48 strikes.
