On the eve of pitchers and catchers reporting, I want to make some predictions/bold statements concerning the 2010 Yankees. Alike many Yankee fans, I expect nothing short of a World Series Championship. So here it is, time for predictions:

1. Yankees win AL East; Record: 99-63. (It’s hard to project a team to win more than 100 games, pre-season).

2. Alex Rodriguez is the 2010 AL MVP.

3. Derek Jeter leads the league in batting average.

4. CC Sabathia wins 20 games.

5. Javier Vazquez wins 15+ games.

6. Mark Teixeira wins another Gold Glove.

7. Curtis Granderson plays more games in LF than CF.

8. Brett Gardner steals 45+ bases.

9. Nick Swisher plays with a ‘Swish-Hawk’  for more than half the season.

10. Yankees defeat Phillies in 6 Games to the WS.(AL wins All-Star game)

What are your predictions?
